Brief Summary of the Business Development Account Manager Role

Our Business Development Account Managers are responsible for generating new sales opportunities via phone, email, and other electronic communication methods. They also respond to customer orders and quote requests received through outside leads, telephone inquiries, email, and written correspondence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • In addition to leads provided, must be able to also generate leads via outbound calling, email, and prospecting.
  • Ensure customer retention by maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Ability to meet with customers at various company sponsored sporting events
  • Monitor previously contacted leads and follow up to ensure timely customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure resolution of any delivery issues and customer concerns.
  • Meet KPI targets set forth by the Director of Operations/Sales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous sales experience.
  • B2B experience.
  • Proficient in Google web platforms (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to work from our Crystal Lake office Monday - Friday and alternate Saturdays from 7:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Punctuality is a must – Office hours are 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement, make suggestions, and help develop improvement plans.
  • Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast-moving, results-oriented work environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 starting base salary (experience depending)
