An Addiction Medicine Physician provides specialized care for patients struggling with opioid addiction in a collaborative outpatient setting. The role involves medication-assisted treatment, individual and group counseling, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery. Treat patients in a collaborative team environment which includes nurse practitioners, nurses, behavioral health therapists, case managers, peer recovery support specialists, community navigators and the Medical Director. Outpatient opioid treatment and drug rehabilitation program serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Provides the following: Dignity, respect and caring Medication assisted treatment includes methadone in both liquid and tablet form and buprenorphine in their generic forms, as well as Sublocade.
