Description:
Gridiron IT has an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer working in our Washington, DC office. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: Design solutions and products and manage AWS cloud products
Design Active Directory (AD), System Centers, virtual desktop infrastructure
VDI system optimization
Design and engineer virtual desktop infrastructure (i.e. VMware, Citrix)
Migration of on-prem IT systems to AWS Cloud Qualifications:
8 to 12 years of server systems engineering and administration experience of Windows environment (Active Directory and Azure AD)
7+ years of virtualization design and implementation experience
Hands on hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
VDI Desing for Citrix on AWS
Performance of Windows Server architecture design and implementation
Performance of Virtualization architecture design and implementation
Demonstrated experience with best practices for Windows Server 2012 install, support and configuration.
Build and manage large-scale Microsoft Active Directory environment
Experience with cloud architecture and infrastructure as code Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Full Scope Polygraph required Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $190,000 - $250,000/yr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
