About the Role
The Company is seeking two Executive Board Members, one with a background in clinical engineering and the other with legal expertise, to join its Board. The successful candidates will be deeply committed to the organization's mission of advancing the application of technology in solving health care problems. This commitment includes actively working with fellow Board members to secure the financial resources and partnerships necessary to support the company's initiatives, as well as collaboratively reviewing award applications. Board members are expected to be ambassadors for the organization, leveraging their professional and personal networks to enhance its fundraising and reputation. The role is non-compensatory and volunteer-based, with a one-year term. Ideal candidates for the Executive Board Member positions at the company will have a degree and relevant work experience in clinical engineering or legal practice, and a proven track record of executive leadership in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector. A strong understanding of the company's awards program and a natural ability to cultivate relationships and build consensus are essential. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for using technology to address health care challenges are also key. Board members are expected to make a meaningful personal financial contribution, prepare for and engage in Board meetings, and participate in one or more committees.
