For more information about NEBCO, visit Summary Directly supervise and coordinate activities of employees assigned to project site for the construction, maintenance, and repair of bridges. Provides leadership and is responsible for safety, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising. Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Please note work may be away from home requiring overnight stays possibly a week at a time or longer. Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible and accountable for the safety of the crews under his/her direction. Oversees and coordinates the activities of field employees while assessing competency of the capabilities and needs of the crew. Maintains employee time and production reporting and equipment time for the week. Accountable for following project plans and schedules, ensures that crews perform activities to meet production and quality requirements of the job, and identifies needs and deficiencies in the schedule and communicates these to the appropriate people. Confers with supervisory personnel to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. Directs workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations. Participates in and promote safety procedures to promote a safe working environment including compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the duties and responsibilities of field employees at any given time.
