Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Controller Location Quincy, WA :

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Columbia Farm Services (CFS) provides strategic financial leadership to optimize operating and financial performance. The CFO oversees financial planning, reporting, and cash management while ensuring alignment with CFS's vision, mission, and values. This role requires both hands-on financial management and high-level strategic thinking to improve cost accounting, budgeting, and financial processes.

Requirements

Knowledge of:

• Financial and manufacturing accounting principles, including GAAP.
• Budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and credit utilization.
• Inventory control, purchasing, and regulatory compliance.

Skills & Abilities:

• Lead and support CFS's strategic initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle complex financial data.
• Analyze and present financial insights clearly to executives and investors.
• Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller or equivalent leadership role.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Experience in farming or food packaging is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Travel

• Primarily office-based with occasional visits to farming and industrial sites.
• Some local and overnight travel required for meetings and training.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $160,000 - $225,000 per year
