Role Overview As a CPR Instructor, you'll lead classes ranging from 4 to 12 students, teaching them essential CPR, First Aid, and AED techniques. You will bring a fun and engaging energy to your lessons while ensuring clear communication and creating a positive learning environment. Your role includes preparing and tidying up before and after each class, as well as teaching in various settings such as offices, schools, and medical facilities. Provide engaging and thorough instruction to students. Break down complex course material in an understandable and accessible way. Respond to emergencies and offer necessary care. Build professional relationships with students, clients, and other team members. Collaborate with management and partners to ensure smooth operations. Handle equipment inventory, cleaning, and restocking. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Availability to work weekends and occasional weekday evenings. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent). CPR, First Aid, and AED Instructor Certification or higher (American Red Cross or equivalent). Familiarity with online, web-based systems to manage course records. Access to necessary training equipment (manikins, AED Trainers, First Aid materials). Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as an instructor. Availability to teach at least two weekends per month. Ability to teach in Spanish is a plus. Additional Information This position offers the flexibility to teach other American Red Cross courses, both public and private. Instructors will teach at various onsite and remote locations. This is a part-time role, with instruction lasting between 4-8 hours per day. Compensation $22.00-$25.00 per hour.
