Skilled Standup Forklift Operator Needed in Council Bluffs, IA!

Shift:

1st 7:00am-3:45pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay: $18.14

Summary

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facility by ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials and products. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods throughout the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and ensure that items are stored correctly and in accordance with safety guidelines. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will need to follow strict protocols to prevent accidents and ensure that inventory is accurately accounted for. In addition to operating the forklift, you will also assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport goods within the warehouse or production facility safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers ensuring proper handling
• Organize and store materials in designated areas following safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs
• Assist in inventory management by ensuring accurate stocking and labeling of products
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to company standards
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies related to forklift operation and warehouse safety

• Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
• Valid forklift certification and license
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment
• Good physical condition and strength to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
