We're looking for an ambitious and goal-driven salesperson who understands the local market and is looking to jump into the world of insurance. We are looking for a people person with strong listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate insurance programs and plans to new customers. You do not need to already have your insurance license. Our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, and marketing strategies in the Joliet and surrounding area. • Use our proven system to create a self-sustaining referral stream for life
• Utilize our continuous training materials and stay up-to-date with our revenue targets
• Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking
• Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships
• Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit margin targets

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in direct sales, outside sales, leadership, or business-to-business sales preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time
• Great communication skills and ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly
• Goal-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire
