Field Reimbursement Manager Specialty Drug Prior Authorization Pay range: $115,000 $116,000 per year. Locations: Omaha, NE; Wichita, KS; Cheyenne, WY (one territory). Core responsibilities include: Carefully manage patient medication approvals by working through all roadblocks and barriers to get medications approved and paid for. Specialize in specialty drug prior authorizations through portals, benefits investigations, Medicare Part D, working appeals and denials. Escalate, educate, and support patients through Patient Assistance Programs, foundation coverage, and guidelines. Keep up with changes and updates to drug programs, new FDA indications, miscellaneous J?codes, and payer policy changes that impact reimbursement. Teach and lead others in your territory through training or educating skills. Required qualifications: 2+ years of experience in escalations, education, Patient Assistance Program approvals, foundation coverage, guidelines, and reimbursement. Expertise in specialty drug prior authorizations through portals, benefits investigations, Medicare Part D, working appeals and denials. Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable training or educating others in your territory. Degree is not required.
