As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will gain essential skills to sell Individual Insurance products and develop a sustainable financial practice.

Through a blend of independent study, engaging projects, and guidance from experienced mentors, you will receive the training necessary to operate your own business and forge a fulfilling career.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Engage in a thorough program that helps you develop the skills to provide holistic financial advice to clients, participating actively in discussions and progress evaluations.
  • Gain direct sales experience by marketing Individual Insurance products, culminating in passing a sales competency test.
  • Build and maintain prospecting skills through research, networking, communication, and more, utilizing personal networks, community events, and social media.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of our product offerings, showcasing expertise in their features and benefits.
  • Ensure the seamless flow of content, proposals, and paperwork through both field and Home Office, facilitating a smooth application and underwriting process.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Completion of all trainee program requirements, acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive.
  • Obtain the required insurance licenses before starting, with two attempts permitted for the Life and Health exam.
  • Pass the CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing, with securities licensing needed within 24 months of joining the program.
  • Be highly self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, maintain a valid U.S. driver's license, and have reliable transportation for meetings and appointments.
  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, valuing different perspectives and actively listening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, including products and marketing practices.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
