We are currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist for a locum tenens assignment in Austin, Texas. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be ongoing for at least 3+ months.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (in-person preferred)
Alternative Options: Telehealth may be considered
Patient Population: Adults and adolescents
EMR System: Cerner
Responsibilities:
Evaluate 46B patients for Competency to Stand Trial and provide written reports for court and CWS Avatar
Evaluate 46C patients regarding risk for future violence and suitability for transition to less restrictive settings
Evaluate Chapter 55 patients for Fitness to Stand Trial , with documentation submitted in both letter and CWS Avatar report formats
May also include psychological testing and interpretation for adult and adolescent patients
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted Texas license (Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists)
American Heart Association CPR certification
Board certification preferred, but not required
