Job Summary As a part of the Sendik's team, the Grocery Associate will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik's culture by consistently providing "best in class" service to our guests. The Grocery Associate is responsible for rotating, stocking and facing the Grocery Department; ensuring each product is of high quality and priced accurately. The Grocery Associate will also assist the department with miscellaneous tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning, maintaining back stock and gathering grocery carts and baskets as needed.

Work Experience Duties/Responsibilities - Serve customers in the Grocery Department while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business
- Assist customers in selecting products, answering questions and offering suggestions as needed
- Stock, rotate and face the Grocery Department aisles
- Clean shelving units to ensure they are free from dust at all times
- Maintain and work back stock items
- Assist with unloading deliveries and gathering items to be stocked
- Assist with general cleaning of the store and gathering grocery carts and baskets as needed
- Operate, maintain and clean Grocery equipment including, u-boats, flat carts and pallet jacks
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new associates in the Grocery Department
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
- Assist with all other Grocery Department duties as needed

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
