Are you a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with a strong understanding of residential construction and flooring? Arko Flooring, a leading provider of flooring and tile solutions for home builders, is seeking a skilled and experienced Home Builder Estimator to join our dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for accurately estimating material quantities and labor costs for flooring and tile shower installations based on blueprints provided by our various builder partners. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our projects, from initial quote to final installation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate take-offs from blueprints for various residential home builder projects.
• Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotes for flooring materials (hardwood, LVT, carpet, etc.) and tile shower installations.
• Collaborate closely with builder accounts to understand project specifications and ensure client satisfaction.
• Order and manage material procurement , ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
• Schedule and coordinate installation teams , optimizing efficiency and meeting project deadlines.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing builder accounts through excellent customer service and proactive communication.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to estimates, orders, or installations in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the residential construction or flooring industry , with a focus on take-offs from blueprints.
• In-depth knowledge of various flooring materials (hardwood, LVT, carpet, tile) and tile shower construction processes.
• Strong PC proficiency , including extensive experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with RFMS software is highly preferred but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of estimating and ordering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• A customer-first mindset with a dedication to ensuring builder satisfaction.

 Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
