Role: Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Location: Washington, D.C. (3 days in office)

Comp: 160-175k, strong benefits

A leading non-profit organization is looking for a Manager of Cybersecurity Operations to join their Washington D.C. based team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity monitoring and risk management activities for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead management/response to cybersecurity incidents
• Work on key projects related to NIST CSF compliance
• Manage cybersecurity projects across the team
• Understand/assess security posture, report findings and make improvements
• Manage areas of risk relating to data protection, recommending mitigation strategies
• Stay current with threat actors and the TTPs

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity related role related to CIRT/SOC operations
• CISSP preferred
• Undergraduate or master's degree in cyber or related is preferred, but also relevant experience is suitable
• Strong understanding of cyber security threats and risk
