The division is dedicated to institutional and community commitment to the development of research programs at Stanford that focus on clinical immunology.
The Utz Laboratory in the Division of Immunology & Rheumatology is seeking a full-time, Life Science Research Professional 1/Lab Manager to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. The incumbent is expected to participate in a research team, under the supervision of senior scientists and the Principal Investigator, to perform biomedical research utilizing cutting-edge molecular biology, cellular biology and biochemistry
approaches. The incumbent will assist with designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and interpreting scientific data and writing and preparing materials for publications, grant applications and oral presentations. The incumbent will also be the Utz lab manager and will be responsible for lab safety tasks, chemical inventory, ordering, instrument maintenance and contracting, and negotiating with vendors. Work performed in this position is likely to lead to coauthored publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The expected pay range for this position is $31.40 to $38.89 per hour.
