Qualifications To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B or J.D., if related. Graduate education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. OR Experience: One year of specialized experience that equips the applicant with the qualifications to perform the duties of the position successfully, typically in or related to the work of the position. Specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the organization’s progression. Examples of qualifying experience include: Maintaining the armory where weapons and ammunition are stored, including rifles, carbines, stun guns, less lethal munitions, pistols, riot shotguns, gas guns, and chemical agents. Analyzing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic locks; locking systems; engineering blueprints; weapon repair; and schematics. Maintaining telephone systems for daily and emergency use, ensuring proper issuance of keys, and accurate documentation. OR Combination of Education & Experience: Having a combination of education and experience that equips you with the qualifications to perform the major duties of the position.
