Our client is seeking an experienced contractor to support their Health Plan Operations team with marketing and communication projects focused on regulatory and compliance-driven deliverables. This role sits within the Marketing job family and will partner closely with leadership, compliance, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate communication for health plan members and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:Draft, edit, and finalize health plan communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operational teams to review and approve materials. Manage timelines and deliverables for communication projects, balancing multiple priorities with minimal oversight. Translate complex regulatory requirements into member-friendly communications. Provide subject matter expertise in marketing, communications, and health plan operations. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 5 years of professional experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development. At least 2 years of direct experience writing/editing in a regulated environment (healthcare, health plans, insurance, or similar). Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work with minimal training or ramp-up. Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and member-facing communication standards. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail. Previous experience supporting health plan operations or payer communications. Familiarity with CMS, state regulatory guidelines, or healthcare compliance frameworks.
