Job Summary:
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the open position of Mental Health Counselor. This position is part time. The Mental Health Counselor conducts intakes and provides short-term solution counseling for a diverse student population with evidence-based techniques and interventions for individual, couples, group counseling and crisis intervention. The mental health counselor will also assist with mental health programming with workshops/ presentations, and consult in accordance with ethical guidelines with students, faculty, staff, and families.
