Fox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
Job Description
The Per Diem Photographer/Editor at Fox 2 (WJBK) is responsible for shooting and editing spot news, feature stories, and sports content. This per diem position will require the candidate to perform live shots using LiveU technology in and around the Detroit area on a daily basis. This role demands high-quality news photography skills and the ability to work under various weather conditions, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Shoot and edit spot news, feature stories, and sports content.
Perform LiveU live shots from various locations in the Detroit area.
Demonstrate high caliber news photography shooting and editing skills.
Manage multiple packages per day in the field.
Communicate effectively with the Assignment Desk, Writers, and Reporters.
Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in news photography and editing.
Proficiency in editing software, specifically Edius.
Ability to lift over fifty (50) pounds of equipment.
Capability to walk while carrying a tripod, batteries, and LiveU backpack.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $35.13 per hour.
