Dr. Bob Pediatric Dentist is a leading pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to children in a fun and welcoming environment. Our team is passionate about making dental visits a positive experience for kids and their families.
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong commitment to patient care. As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will support our dentists and ensure that our young patients feel comfortable and cared for during their dental visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care information to patients and parents.
- Ensure patient comfort and manage patient behavior during dental procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a pediatric dental office preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and parents.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
