LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a per diem / prn job in Jackson, Michigan.

Hospital is looking for an APP Cardiovascular Surgeon to fill their need!

Schedule:

• Dates of Coverage: ASAP through December of 2025, potentially longer depending on recruitment and training for new hires.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights/day combination. 24 hours shift available if interested.
• Call Schedule: No call required.

Details:

• Reason for Coverage: Department expansion/previous locum unable to provide adequate coverage.
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based. CVICU
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: Daily census of 9
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Level II Trauma Center
• APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
• Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: Yes, for day shift, by phone for night shift.
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult 18 and older

Required Duties/Procedures:

• Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
• Placement of Arterial Lines
• Chest Tube Insertions
