Job Summary:

We’re hiring a Project Executive to lead a major $450M NCDOT infrastructure project in North Carolina. This role demands deep field experience, operational control, and the ability to manage a large road and bridge project from precon to closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle management of highway and DOT infrastructure projects ($100M+)
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and NCDOT officials
• Manage field staff, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors
• Maintain project schedules, costs, and quality to hit KPIs and margins
• Navigate change orders, RFI workflows, and compliance documentation
• Identify risk and resolve field issues with speed and accountability
• Monitor job cost, forecasting, and reporting metrics using HCSS/P6

Qualifications:

• 15+ years in heavy civil/highway construction
• Minimum 5 years managing DOT-funded project at an executive level
• Strong understanding of NCDOT standards and specs
• Familiarity with HCSS, Primavera (P6), Bluebeam, and Procore
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)

• Salary $250K – $300K DOE
