Project Manager - Precast Concrete

With six manufacturing facilities across Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and a corporate office in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, Alcrete provides construction contractors with reliable concrete solutions for vital infrastructure projects.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring all phases meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations. This role requires strong coordination with internal teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes in a high-energy, solutions-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Field Services.
• Lead pre-construction meetings to align project scope, expectations, and deliverables.
• Manage customer communications and ensure all commitments are met.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce Alcrete's safety standards across all project activities.
• Monitor quality of precast products and installation to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential risks or issues before they impact delivery.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and project partners.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain strong, transparent relationships.
• Represent Alcrete at job sites, client meetings, and industry events as needed.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
• Support the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and workflow optimization.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in construction, manufacturing, or precast concrete (preferred).
• Proven track record in managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with precast concrete processes (formwork, reinforcement, casting, curing, and finishing) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
