A Radiation Therapist is an Allied Health Professional who uses ionizing radiation to treat diseases, primarily cancer. They collect and analyze patient information to plan and deliver effective radiation treatments. This role requires specialized knowledge in medical imaging and patient care within oncology settings.

THE POSITION:
A Radiation Therapist is an Allied Health Professional who uses ionising radiation to treat disease, usually cancer. A radiation therapist is also responsible for collecting relevant patient information and using this information to plan a patient's treatment.
