Receiving Associate 1st shift

Our client is a growing retail distribution company with a brand-new warehouse facility in Kentland, IN. They focus on efficiency, quality, and employee development. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping things organized and moving smoothly.

• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Job Summary: The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading shipments, verifying accuracy, and ensuring products are stocked into the correct bin locations to support efficient warehouse operations.

Job Duties:

1. Receive and unload incoming shipments
2. Inspect and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
3. Accurately input received products into the inventory system using scanners or computers
4. Stock items into proper bin locations using FIFO rotation
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and storage areas

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Experience or Skill Requirements:

1. Prior warehouse receiving or inventory experience
2. Ability to operate basic warehouse technology (scanner/computer)
3. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
