\n\nOverview:\nThe Adult Living Donor Coordinator performs all activities related to the assigned Transplant Program, maintaining the resources needed for success. The coordinator provides direct patient and family care across the continuum from pre-donation, during donation and post-donation, in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. The coordinator provides education to patients/families, hospital staff, and the community utilizing Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) and United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) resources. The coordinator adheres to clinical practice guidelines, integrates applicable regulatory and practice standards, and participates in quality improvement and research activities.

\n\nRemote Work/Work from Home:\n
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
