We are looking for professional Retail Sales Associates & Cannabis Enthusiasts. As a Retail Sales Associate, you are the face of Velvet Cannabis focused on providing an exceptional customer experience.Retail Sales Associate Compensation: $20.00 per/hourRetail Sales Associate Responsibilities: Act in a professional manner, greeting customers, facilitating sales, and ensuring exceptional customer experienceAdvising customers on cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and interests Keeping up to date with the cannabis industry standards, new products, strains, and changes in laws, as well as industry trends Processes customer transactions using Velvet's Point of Sale (POS) system.Ensuring the dispensary is clean, stocked, and well-organized at all timesEducating customers on the safe use of cannabis products provided at Velvet DispensaryUpsells when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, discounts, etc.Verifying proper identification of customers to verify they are of legal age to purchase and consume products offeredMaintains the professional appearance of the sales floorInventory of cannabis productsEnsuring sales floor is always stocked and well-organized Assisting in various dispensary operations while maintaining hygienic conditions.Ability to remain stationary position for a minimum of 3 hoursAbility to stand, walk, stoop and kneel Ability to grasp, finger, and reach Ability to effectively communicateAvailable nights, weekends, holidaysRetail Sales Associate Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Previous cannabis experience preferred Knowledge of cannabis strains and their benefits, effects, etc.Outstanding customer service & communication skills Attention to detail & multi-tasked oriented A passion & interest for all things cannabis Drive to go above and beyond for your team and your customer Benefits & Perks Paid time off including 2 weeks vacation annually on an accrual basis (based off a 40-hour work week) and volunteer time offHealth, dental, vision, and 401k for qualified employees after first 90 days of employment Employee discounts, company events, and much moreCompany provided onsite snacks and beverages Health & wellness programOpportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment with a group of cannabis enthusiastsVelvet Cannabis is a fast-paced, dynamic environment looking for team members to join our amazing team.
