We stand together to REINVENT THE WAY OUR WORLD IS BUILT./ph3Job Summary/h3pLeviat is seeking an Entry-Level Safety Coordinator with a leadership spirit to be responsible for directing projects in support of our safety program(s). We are willing to train and/or provide company sponsorship for appropriate safety certifications as necessary. This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3p Assists Plant Managers in designing, defining, improving and maintaining their safety programs/pp Educate employees via the Safety Steering Committee (SSC) to the level of risk assessment understanding to ensure goals towards a zero accident, zero incident workplace goals are being met/pp Manage and review all work-related injury situations including minor injuries, recordable injuries, incident documentation and investigation, and improve record keeping/pp Identify/analyze potential workplace hazards to avoid accidents and injuries/pp Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees, including written policies/pp Supports plant personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment/pp Assists as necessary in implementation of a hazard communication program and preparation of reports/pp Audits practices and records of manufacturing plants to ensure compliance with company programs and federal/state occupational safety and health regulations/pp Continually study government agency regulatory requirements to ensure compliance, while improving personal skills and knowledge/pp Other duties as assigned/ph3Job Requirements/h3p High School Diploma or GED preferred/pp Excellent communication skills are required-verbally and in writing/pp Knowledge of OSHA and EHS preferred but not required/pp Ability to obtain OSHA 30 HR Course Certification/pp Ability to train, influence, motivate, and lead others/pp Ability to lift up to 40 pounds/ph3What CRH Offers You/h3ulliHighly competitive base pay/liliComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs/liliGroup retirement savings program/liliHealth and wellness programs/liliA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion/li/ulh3About CRH/h3pCRH has a long and proud heritage.
