Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the Omni team by building and nurturing strong client relationships, facilitating seamless communication, and delivering essential administrative and operational support. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth within the Omni Channel space by providing tailored solutions and executing client-specific promotions. The position plays a key part in ensuring the efficient processing of orders, maintaining accurate client and product data, and supporting marketing efforts through impactful materials. By collaborating closely with both internal teams and clients, the role ensures that all client needs are met with precision and professionalism, helping to foster long-term partnerships and support the growth of emerging product lines.

Main Responsibilities

Building and Nurturing Client Relationships:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with client accounts.
  • Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact between the company and its clients.
  • Provide vital back-end administrative support for client accounts to ensure seamless operations and timely responses to team requests.
  • Collaborate closely with the Omni Team to comprehend client needs and preferences, assisting in the execution of tailored solutions and promotions.
  • Participate in client meetings and assist the Omni Team in presenting information and addressing client inquiries.

Creating Marketing Material:

  • Develop and produce impactful marketing materials, including Sell Sheets, Sales Training Material, and Show Books.
  • Oversee the administration of marketing materials on customer and client portals.

Trade Show Support:

  • Manage the submission of necessary paperwork and forms for trade shows.
  • Coordinate the ordering of samples, tracking their arrival, and ensuring all are properly accounted for.
  • Facilitate travel logistics, track documents, and manage badge ordering and registration.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of booths.
  • Create comprehensive booth binders.
  • Represent account teams at trade shows when necessary.

Client Database & System Management:

  • Oversee the addition of new items/products and stocked SKUs.
  • Manage price changes and the discontinuation of old products.
  • Ensure timely updates of images and content.
  • Coordinate changes in shelf packs.
  • Create and maintain master warehouse listings for all clients across all accounts.

Order Processing:

  • Process and manage warehouse orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments or clients to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Serve as the front-line communicator for specialized customer quotes.

Reporting:

  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting for clients and key accounts, not limited to:
    1. Forecasts, Scorecards, Chargebacks, Defectives, item detail, action reporting.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the account team and other departments, fostering effective communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as outside sales and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to account management.

Sales & Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients.
  • Maintain client contact database.
  • Create planograms using JDA software.
  • Track sales and generate data reports using Excel, analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Provide competitive market analysis and images as needed for key clients and accounts.

Travel Requirements

This role requires some travel to support the team's needs, including attending trade shows and visiting customer and client corporate offices. Travel is expected to be approximately 10-15% of the time.

As a key contributor to the company's overall sales strategy, the team works to implement and execute tailored strategies for clients, ensuring seamless integration of sale efforts. Through close collaboration with client accounts and all account teams, the Omni team focuses on understanding client preferences, delivering targeted solutions, and developing growth opportunities that result in increased revenue. The team's mission is to ensure client satisfaction while fostering a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship that supports both brand and business growth.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in client relationships, sales support, or a similar role.
  • Experience with sales reporting, data analysis, and supporting client accounts or product lines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and client database management
  • Experience with JDA software or similar planogram creation tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills to assess data, identify issues, and create solutions
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing strategies and materials
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
