Job Title: Sales Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a talented, high-energy Sales Engineer to support the extraordinary growth of advanced industrial mixing technologies. This role is ideal for a dynamic, self-motivated professional who thrives on building customer relationships, demonstrating technical solutions, and driving new business opportunities in diverse industries.
Location:
Based in the Rocky Mountains region (relocation required). This position is a true "road warrior" role, requiring up to 50% travel across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Pursue leads, qualify prospects, and manage all aspects of the sales cycle with new and existing customers.
Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and territory-specific marketing initiatives.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Represent products at conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs with professionalism and technical accuracy.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly defined and met.
Maintain accurate records in CRM (Salesforce preferred).
Act quickly and professionally to resolve customer issues.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Contribute to product management feedback by conveying customer needs and emerging applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales .
Strong technical knowledge of industrial materials processing or related technology.
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a technical environment with a rapidly expanding customer base.
Highly organized, analytical, and able to creatively overcome sales obstacles.
Proficiency in equipment installation and demonstrations at customer sites.
Good mechanical aptitude and computer skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record.
Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and customer trust-building abilities.
