Now, you’re probably wondering a little more about what we are looking for, so here it is:

· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field of study or,

· Successful completion and graduation of a related coding boot camp or,

· Demonstration of self-taught, thorough understanding of related programming fundamentals and concepts

· Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certification

· 4+ years of Salesforce development experience – Required

· Experience with Sales Cloud – Required

· Salesforce Financial Service Cloud (FSC) Experience – Preferred

· Financial Services industry experience – Preferred

· Proficient knowledge of products and services offered by Nextek and industry

· Proficient knowledge of financial services industry

· Advanced skills in debugging across technologies

· Advanced communication skills with all team members

· Advanced technical skills

· Advanced skills in architecting applications

· Advanced skill in time-management

· Advanced skill in multi-tasking

· Advanced skill with company software

· Ability to work nights, as necessary

· Ability to mentor other developers in their coding

· Ability to coordinate and release code to production

· Ability to listen and consider all views and perspectives

· Ability to communicate tactfully and respectfully with team members

· Ability to handle disagreements professionally

· Ability to identify and resolve critical bugs quickly

· Develop, test, and deploy custom configurations and new Salesforce modules based on evolving business needs

· Manage Salesforce updates, troubleshooting and resolution

· Maintain up to date knowledge of Salesforce functionality, customization and integrations

· Adhere to development standards to ensure code maintainability and collaborative development

· Identify and implement solutions to improve system performance, data integrity and overall user experience

· Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration and development issues within the Salesforce environment

· Scope and implement solutions independently for your product team

· Handle open-ended problems and ambiguity well

· Make strong design decisions based on potential issues, tradeoffs, and risks

· Implement work at appropriate level of abstraction

· Display proficiency in relevant technical skills and maintain a deep understanding of large portions of the codebase

· Ask for guidance in unfamiliar technical areas from the associated experts

· Provide suggestions for new or enhanced events and/or services, assist in the development of events/services, and provide ongoing feedback to management

· Create and document current and new processes

· Initiate and work with team members to promote collaboration and team development

· Be a resource to team members to answer advanced questions regarding client correspondence, processes and procedures, compliance, and all other as necessary

· Provide training and insight to team members on best practices

· Assist with cross-training for growth for team members
