Job Description

Century Group has partnered with an Environmental Services organization who is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is an onsite position located in Martinez. This is a direct hire position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting salary: $85,000 to $110,00 per year.

• Prepare and process monthly tax filings (e.g., sales taxes and excise taxes in various jurisdictions)
• Assist with annual audits (financial statement, workers compensation, bank collateral, 401k) and prepare related schedules.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly financial reports and presentation materials.
• Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Work with management and project managers on project financial projections.
• Develop and monitor systems to make sure projects are set up and tracked properly.
• Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated dollar and time limits.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5-7 years experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
