The Senior QA Tester is responsible for executing integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure systems comply with defined requirements, business practices, and organizational policies. This role supports the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and production readiness, while serving as a test lead on complex initiatives and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform integration, regression, and functional testing across multiple systems and platforms.
Analyze functional and technical requirements to develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases.
Create, modify, and manage test data and conditions required to support test execution.
Certify testing completion and production readiness in collaboration with quality assurance analysts.
Identify opportunities to improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Coordinate, schedule, and maintain test environments to support testing activities.
Track and report testing metrics, including execution status, defects, time spent, and testing delays.
Serve as test lead for assigned projects, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
Provide clear, concise, and effective communication of testing status, risks, and outcomes.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for supported business functions, systems, policies, and procedures.
Support defect resolution, issue analysis, and stakeholder inquiries as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Lead and support full project testing lifecycles, including:
Test planning, scope definition, and scheduling
Resource coordination and timeline management
Risk, issue, and change management
Quality assurance and production readiness validation
Ensure successful implementation through adherence to SDLC and QA best practices.
5 10 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
Proven experience testing complex, multi-platform systems.
Strong knowledge of SDLC , ITIL , and related development or operations frameworks.
Advanced skills in test case design, defect management, and test execution.
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
