Are you passionate about clean energy and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the environment? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Sales Hostess/Representative to join our retail team. As a Solar Sales Hostess/Rep, you will play a key role in engaging with customers, educating them about solar energy solutions, and qualifying potential leads. You will join us 5 days a week at our Murphy location. Bilingual is a bonus, but not mandatory. You will be in our retail store, inviting guests into the store to educate them on the benefits of solar with the intent to set an appointment with one of our solar experts.


Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction:
    • Greet and engage customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Effectively communicate the benefits of solar energy and our products.
    • Gather information and set up a solar consultation.
  2. Education:
    • Provide detailed information about solar energy solutions and their advantages.
    • Answer customer questions and address concerns, ensuring a thorough understanding.
  3. Qualification:
    • Assess and qualify potential customers by understanding their needs and home suitability for solar installations.
    • Collect necessary information to determine eligibility for solar solutions.
  4. Appointment Setting:
    • Once a customer is qualified, schedule appointments for our solar experts to conduct further assessments.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of customer information for follow-up purposes.
  5. Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience.
    • Stay informed about the latest solar energy trends and products.

Qualifications:

  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
  • Positive Attitude: Approach each customer interaction with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Sales Aptitude: Ability and willingness to learn and apply sales techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Adaptability: Openness to learning and adapting to new information and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Familiarity with solar energy concepts is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills for appointment scheduling and documentation.
