Your Role on the Team Position Summary: Functions as specialist, providing purchasing and inventory management support to a specific area of hospital inventory supply/equipment. Duties include supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed. This position also is responsible for working with departmental end users/customers, ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience.
What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications: - Recently demonstrated inventory management experience in a retail environment
- Previous cashiering or cash handling experience
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Must be available for occasional travel as needed
- Experience in creative store merchandising
- Demonstrated retail experience with the ability to effectively provide information about products and services
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
