Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Tax Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role with three days being onsite in their Woodland Hills, CA office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

• Preparation of financial statements and accompanying footnote disclosures
• Preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals and various business entity types
• Plan and execute audit and tax engagements, including monitoring budgets and progress, and reporting status to team members
• Assistance in research and analysis of accounting and tax issues
• Direct interaction with client personnel to discuss and resolve tax and accounting-related matters

• Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Responsibilities increase with demonstrated skill

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and a minimum of 1-year relevant experience
