Job Description American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant with robotic, ortho, and neuro/spine background for a hospital OR position. Responsibilities Position is in a hospital operating room with 16 OR suitesDay shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMPatient population includes general, plastics, urology, orthopedic, neuro/spine, and robotics casesRobotic and neurosurgical equipment regularly utilized1:1 patient assignment in the OREMR system is Meditech; no prior Meditech experience requiredCall rotation averages 2 shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekendsNo floating to other units requiredAssist with all OR procedures except transplant and cardiac surgeriesWork as a key member of a surgical team including RNs and Surgical AssistantsScrubs provided by the hospital according to attire policyExpect to participate in weekday night and weekend call rotations as assignedTeam-oriented professionals are ideal for this unit Requirements Active Virginia Certified Surgical Technologist license required if applicableCST certification requiredMinimum 2 years of operating room experienceRobotic surgery, orthopedic, and neuro/spine experience requiredMust have worked in the specialty within the last 6 monthsNo gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past yearAHA or ARC BLS accepted, with certification valid at least 30 days into assignmentUS Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 OptionsGenerous Housing AllowanceNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs401(k) PlanTraveler Rewards and DiscountsTravel and Licensure Reimbursements
