\nRN - Tele Float Pool
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
\n• Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units at Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
\n• Must work 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays
\n• First to float based on staffing needs
\n• Patient ratios range from 1:3-4 on telemetry units to 1:4 on medical-surgical units
\n• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Dobutamine
\n• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 maximum attempts within 48 hours)
\n• Must pass Sim Lab on first day of orientation
\n• Failure of either exam results in immediate termination and 6-month exclusion
\n• Must be able to interpret EKGs and work with centralized telemetry monitoring
\n• Floating includes notification 1.5 hours prior to shift start
\n• May float between campuses (9 miles apart, 15-minute drive)
\n• Must clock out when leaving one campus and clock in when arriving at another
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• 2-day floor-specific orientation for each unit
\n• Care for patients including post-catheterization, post-vascular procedures, CABG patients, neuro post-surgical, CVA patients, orthopedic, surgical, and oncology patients
\n• No pediatric patients (15 years and older only)
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Charting system: Cerner
