INVENTORY CONTROL Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA ⏰Schedule: 6am-3:30pm (OT as needed) Pay rate: $19.70 TEMP-HIRE OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY: Inventory control plays an important role focusing on managing the inventory. They help keep the system information matching to the physical inventory and reporting back findings of near expired dates or any issues of food good. Description Review out of stocks - print item inquiry based on cycle count Create on hand adjustment (OHA) to correct shortages. Create OHA for damages reported from night crew Run inbound report – verify if any pallets/ put aways were not completed Review and respond to emails (to complete by end of day unless requests are sent late in the day) End of day - perform cycle counts when other tasks are completed Cycle counts will come from managers request, trouble shooting from stockers, issues found on the warehouse floor Skills/Qualifications Verbal communication with the warehouse team Communication via email with office personnel Ability to work in all temperature zones: dry, cooler, freezer The use of all warehouse machines including electric pallet jack, sit down forklift, standup reach truck, swing reach turret. The use of MS Office software: Outlook email, Excel and Word
