Duties and Responsibilities/Results: Mitigate fraud by compiling and analyzing statistical data from customer behavior, branch network, vendors, reports and recommend course of action. Intermediate knowledge through training to adhere to banking regulations with an intimate understanding of regulation E. Research by reviewing customers' accounts that have had a compromised card and reviewing any similarities with past usage of the card, then cross-referencing that information with other compromised cards. Analyzes, prepares, and documents all fraud accounts for charge-off according to and within department and/or regulatory time frames. Practices sound decision-making and discretion in recommending resolutions for Debit Card and ATM disputes. Research ATM claims and inquiries for customers by reviewing ATM Electronic Journal transactions and various system generated reports. Recommend the appropriate adjustments to the customers' accounts. Ability to research, identify and resolve problems concerning customer account/transaction problems. Assist with Contact Center functions as needed. All other duties, as assigned. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or 1 year equivalent work experience 1+ years of Regulation E knowledge Knowledge of bank services and computer system Must have an understanding of proof and adjustment/bookkeeping procedures (debits and credits).
